The Government of Mexico published this Friday in the Official Gazette of the Federation the reform decree regarding administrative simplification which proposes the disappearance of seven autonomous organizations and regulatory entities, among which are the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) and the Federal Economic Competition Commission (Coffee).
The decree establishes that the resources obtained from said administrative simplification will be allocated to the Pension Fund for Wellbeing.
The opinion endorsed by the Congress of the Union reforms 13 articles of the Constitution on organic simplification, to reincorporate to the Federal Public Administration the functions of the National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data and the National Council of Evaluation of Social Development Policy.
In addition to the tasks currently carried out by Cofece, the IFTthe National Commission for Continuous Improvement of Education (MEJOREDU), the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) and the National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH).
