President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva gathered his team of ministers for a celebratory lunch, this Friday (20). The meeting takes place at Palácio da Alvorada one day after Lula returned to Brasíliaafter having gone through health procedures in São Paulo.
The president is expected to spend the end of the year festivities in the federal capital. At today’s ministerial meeting, an assessment of the second year of the government must be made and priorities for 2025 will be defined.
The medical team released Lula to carry out his activities normally, with the recommendation not to exercise. After a domestic accident on October 19, in which he hit his head, Lula needed to drain a hematoma in the region between the skull bone and the brain. The surgery was performed on December 10, followed by another procedure to reduce the risk of new hematomas forming.
