The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, delivered this Thursday 22 works related to the provision of health services, in different regions of the country, while reopening the areas of the Brisas de Charallave Comprehensive Diagnostic Center, in the state Miranda.
The head of state commented that all these works have been rescued thanks to the efforts of the 1×10 of the Good Government and the Military Community Brigades (Bricomiles). “We will close this 2024, with the delivery of 120 recovered CDI and CRI,” said the president.
“If this had depended on one point of account, we would not be here,” reflected the head of state, alluding to government programs that bypass bureaucratic obstacles.
“The key is the method, supervision, leadership, delivery. When one has these responsibilities, it is not to enjoy the position, it is to give one’s life to the people. When a recovered facility is delivered, what comes to mind inside me is how to maintain it so that it does not deteriorate,” said the president.
During his tour of the health facility, together with medical personnel and various authorities of the national government, the president inspected the areas of pharmacy,
This Brisas de Charallave CDI will benefit 40 communities and 120 Community Councils in Charallave, Miranda state.
President Maduro also made contact with the directors of the Dr. Miguel Pérez Carreño Hospital and the University Clinical Hospital, where different areas for specialized medical care were inaugurated.
“At the Dr. Miguel Pérez Carreño National General Hospital, in Caracas, we have transformed and reopened the Pediatric Emergency area,” said the president and added that the University Clinical Hospital was equipped with new equipment obtained with the agreement with China, the urology service, the pacemaker and electrophysiology unit…
“Let’s remain united to make Venezuela continue to grow,” reflected the president.
Other works delivered and approved resources
The president made contact with the town of Quíbor, in the state of Lara, where he handed over the reopened Dr. Baudilio Lara Hospital.
“In the city of Quibor, in the beloved state of Lara, we left the Dr. Baudilio Lara Type I Hospital active and reopened and, in addition, in Barquisimeto, the complete remodeling of the Neonatal Intensive and Intermediate Care Area of the Dr. Antonio María Central Hospital Pineda,” said the president.
It also approved a point of account requested by the Ministers of Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez and the Minister of Health Magaly Gutiérrez, for 169 million euros. “Resources to start 2025 in a health and recovery offensive,” said the president.
“These resources, humbly, always, the country’s resources are directed to the recovery process, to invest in health, education, housing, communes, communal circuits, productive projects. For whom? for the development of our people, to empower our people,” he said.
