Bolivia was placed in group B for the next edition of the 2025 Copa América Femenina soccer tournament, which will be held in Ecuador from July 12 to August 2. The South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) carried out the draw this Thursday, in Paraguay.
In addition to the Green, series B is made up of Brazil, which is the last champion, Colombia, Paraguay and Venezuela; while in group A are the host Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Peru.
The three best teams in each group will advance to the phase. The third place will define the fifth place, while the first and second will face each other in the semifinals, from there the finalists will be drawn.
This tenth edition of the Copa América Femenina will grant tickets to the 2027 Pan American Games and the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
The teams that place between third and fifth place will go to Lima, while the two finalists will travel to Los Angeles.
The 2025 Copa América Femenina will not give tickets to the 2027 World Cup, since the South American Qualifiers will be held between next year and 2026. This tournament will give two direct places to the World Cup and two other places for the playoffs, in addition to the place secured by the host team, Brazil.
The last edition of the Copa América Femenina took place in Colombia from July 8 to 30, 2022 and concluded with Brazil as champion, Colombia in second place and Argentina and Paraguay in third and fourth place, respectively.
Brazil is the team that has won this tournament the most times, having won the trophy eight times (1991, 1995, 1998, 2003, 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022). Argentina was champion in 2006.
