Carmen Lea Plaza and her husband Gonzalo Zenteno They have experienced a total transformation in their lives since the arrival of their three little miracles: Natalia, Sofia and Alejandro.

At just 11 months old, these babies have captured the attention of thousands on social media.

From the moment they found out they would be parents of triplets, Carmen and Gonzalo faced fears, doubts, and a roller coaster of emotions. However, with love, patience and teamwork, they have built a beautiful family that now shares their daily lives on TikTok, like Zenteno Triplets.

Carmen opens the doors of her life as a mother of triplets to us, revealing how her routine has changed, the challenges she faces, and how she has found a way to document memories and connect with other families on social media.

Has life changed since the triplets arrived?

Completely. Having triplets changed every aspect of my life, from how I organize my days to the way I see the world. Before, my time was my own; The worries were different, as were the joys. Now everything revolves around them. It is a huge change, but full of love and learning.

How did you feel when they told you that triplets were coming?

I went through a mix of emotions. First, it was a shock. I remember that Gonzalo and I didn’t sleep for two days. We knew the pregnancy was going to be risky and we were worried about the babies and me. Then we thought about how to handle three babies at once – the expense, all times three! But it was also an immense emotion and a lot of gratitude. Not everyone is blessed to be a mother of three at the same time, and although it is a challenge, I feel that they came to transform my life.

How did the idea of sharing your life with triplets on TikTok come about?

It started very naturally. I wanted to document special moments with them. My family encouraged me, I made the first videos, and when I saw that people loved it, I decided to share more. I realized that I could connect with other moms and families who are experiencing similar things or are curious about what it is like to raise triplets. If anyone wants to follow us, look for us on TikTok as “Trillizos Zenteno”.

What challenges do you face when raising triplets and how do you handle it?

The biggest challenge is time. With three babies, there are no breaks, there is always something to do. There are also the logistics: going out with three, the difficult nights, when they get sick and the stages of development that each one experiences at their own pace. I manage it with a lot of patience, organization and with the support of my husband. Also, I try not to push myself too hard and remember that it’s okay to not be perfect.

What have you left for your children?

I left many things: my job, a business I had, and the possibility of focusing more on myself. Now almost everything I do is for them. Even so, I don’t see it as a sacrifice, but as a new stage in which they are my priority. They are the people who need me most.

Are they tiktoker babies?

You could say so, although they don’t know it. The videos show real moments of their daily lives; They do not act, nor do they pose. They’re just themselves, and I think that’s what people love.

How do you organize your time between being a mom and creating content on social networks?

It’s a complicated balance. I record when the babies are awake and doing some activity, and I edit when they are sleeping or playing quietly. It also helps me plan ahead what content I want to create. Gonzalo supports me a lot, and that makes everything more manageable. The times he is at home he has to act as a cameraman.

What reactions do you get from your followers about your life with triplets?

The majority are positive reactions. Many people write to me saying that triplets brighten their day or that they admire how I handle motherhood with three. I also receive messages from moms who identify with me, who have been through similar situations or who are learning something new. It’s nice to feel that connection.

What are the funniest or most chaotic moments you have experienced with your children?

There are many. From one crawling to one side while another tries to eat something they shouldn’t, to moments when everyone cries at the same time and I don’t know where to start. But there are also the moments when you laugh together, and that makes it all worth it. Sharing those real things on TikTok makes people laugh and connect with us.

What advice would you give to other moms who want to start on TikTok?

Be authentic. People connect with what is real, not what is perfect. Don’t be afraid to show your daily life, even the difficult moments. And most importantly: do not compare. Every family is different, and that is what makes their story unique.

What do your family and friends think about your life as a TikTok mom?

They encouraged me to create it. Since we started in June of this year, they have supported us a lot and are proud of what we have achieved: creating a very nice community where they support us, give us advice and are very fond of my children. Our family are our most loyal followers. They also understand that it’s not just about social media, but about creating memories and connecting with other people.

How do you handle negative or critical comments on your social networks?

With patience and a lot of calm. There will always be people who criticize, but I try to focus on the positive and not let those comments affect my day. I learned to set limits and remember that what really matters is what happens at home, with my family.

Is there anything you would like to convey to your audience about being a mother of triplets?

I want you to know that not everything is perfect, but it is beautiful. There are difficult days, of course, but there is also a joy that I wouldn’t change for anything. Being a mother of triplets taught me to be stronger, more patient and to value the little things.

How do you balance your children’s privacy with your public life on social media?

It’s something I always have in mind. I share moments of their life, but never anything that could compromise their privacy or security. I try to focus on the positive and what can inspire others, but always respecting their limits and thinking about their long-term well-being.
