The first challenges from those who last Sunday did not advance to the second stage of selection of candidates for judges, magistrates and ministers began to be presented, in order to reverse their exclusion from the process.

The Evaluation Committee of the Judicial Power of the Federation reported that until yesterday three non-conformity resources before the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch of the Federation, in which the complainants accuse of having been arbitrarily excluded by that committee.

One of the complainants for being left out of the selection of candidates for ministers of the Supreme Court was Luis Euripides Alejandro Flores Pacheco, former deputy deputy of the Morenoist Sergio Gutiérrez Luna in the 65th legislature. His matter will be reviewed by magistrate Mónica Soto Fregoso.

Such a determination generates grievances to my detriment, since it damages my legal sphere and is enforced through trial for the protection of the political-electoral rights of the citizen.argues Flores.

Another challenger – a matter also referred to Soto – is Esmeralda del Carmen Gutiérrez, who seeks to be a circuit magistrate; The third complainant is Octavio García Fuentes, aspiring district judge. Your matter will be reviewed by Judge Felipe de la Mata Pizaña.

The judges will have to prepare draft resolutions on each case to determine whether their exclusions are justified.
