SAN PEDRO DE MACORÍS.– The Court of Instruction of the judicial district of San Pedro de Macorís issued the declaration of rebellion against the teacher Alejandro Roberto Bello Matos, who remains a fugitive, is accused of sexually raping a 13-year-old student.

Bello Matos has not responded to the authorities for the acts of which he is accused, leaving his home and attempting to hinder the judicial process initiated against him.
Given the obvious intention of Bello Matos, who has not responded to any of the calls and summonses from the San Pedro de Macorís Prosecutor’s Office, the Public Ministry, with the consent of the court, has placed the impediment against him from leaving the country and He is actively wanted through arrest warrant No. 2024-AJ0031530.
The data of the accused, disclosed in this press release, have been authorized by resolution 341-2024-TAUT-00090, issued by Judge Magdelquis Franco.
The body prosecuting the crime accuses the teacher of having had sexual relations, on several occasions, with the teenager, whose name is omitted for legal reasons.
These actions, which the Public Ministry attributes to Bello Matos, constitute a violation of articles 330 and 331 of the Dominican Penal Code, and article 396, letters A, B, C, of the Code for the Protection and Fundamental Rights of Children , Girls and Adolescents (Law 136-03).
For this same case, professor Fernando Altagracia Peña Eusebio is also serving preventive detention at the Correction and Rehabilitation Center (CCR) of San Pedro de Macorís.
Through the investigation, which is still being carried out by the Comprehensive Care Unit for Gender Violence, Domestic Violence and Sexual Crimes of the judicial district of San Pedro de Macorís, the Public Ministry has obtained different evidence that links Bello Matos to the acts committed in against the teenager.
