Evans Villa Hilares, 11, a native of the native community of Atahualpa, in the province of Satipo, launched his first book, which deals with raising awareness about the indiscriminate exploitation of natural resources and protection of the environment. Little Evans hopes to sell 100 copies of his book to be able to pay for specialty courses and fulfill his dream of being a great writer.

At his young age, Evans was able to identify that outsiders were misusing the resources in his community, “they came from other places and took resources such as wood, animals and plants. I cannot allow that since we must take care of nature, people do not know the damage they do,” he mentioned.
Thus, faced with this problem, Evans becomes a social actor and found in his talent the means to convey the message of change to society. With his writing, drawings and creativity, he created the story ‘Paco el topo’. This story brings together various jungle animals, who fight to safeguard their ecosystem.

His aunt was the one who encouraged Evans to share his story, in this way he put his talent into practice and he himself made the drawings of the flora and fauna of his book in addition to the writing. There are 100 books that he launched for sale, each one costs 10 soles, with that money he hopes to be able to study in Lima to continue specializing.
A new project by the Asháninka boy is on the way, it is a new story focused on the problems found in the marine ecosystem. Any information or sale of the book at 914 033 629.
