National Police reinforces citizen security with deployment of agents throughout the country
Within the framework of operational preventive “Christmas with a Guarantee of Peace 2024”the National Police has carried out a wide deployment of 1,200 agents from the administrative areas to different provinces of the national territory.
This effort seeks to guarantee citizen security and strengthen preventive actions during the Christmas festivities, providing greater peace of mind to the population.
This activity was led by Colonels Julio Pérez Espinal, deputy director of Human Resources, and Pedro Marte Báez, deputy director of Prevention, who have personally supervised the mobilization of police officers.
Both officers highlighted that this action responds to the institution’s comprehensive strategy to cover strategic points and reinforce patrolling in communities with a greater influx of people.
The measure includes the redistribution of administrative personnel to operational tasks, significantly increasing police presence on the streets, commercial areas and residential areas.
This provision is framed within the guidelines of the general director of the National Police, Major General Ramón Antonio Guzmán Peralta, to strengthen the response to any eventuality and guarantee a safe environment for the celebrations.
