Francisco Lobato Galindo, president of the organization, said that December is the month in which there is the most consumption in the businesses it represents, especially in the last 15 days.
He commented that the sector has had significant growth with the arrival of franchises from the south and north of the country, “which speaks of the importance of Puebla for the national sector.”
He indicated that franchises of cafeterias, food, pharmacies and convenience stores are growing on the outskirts of the city and the metropolitan area.
Lobato Galindo highlighted that, with the new franchises, 400 formal jobs have been generated in 2024, being the best year since 2019.

He indicated that the Mexican Franchise Network has been a promoter of Puebla in the national market so that more business units arrive from other states.
He commented that the latest franchises to open have been the result of six-month market studies, since the investments to open new points range between 2 and 4 million pesos.
“These are strong investments that are made in the sector, therefore care must be taken as to how the money is applied to have solid franchises and not fail within a year,” he explained.
The president of the Mexican Franchise Network hopes that the sector will continue to grow in 2025, since there are plans for some not only foreign but also foreign chains to arrive in Puebla.
He indicated that Puebla has become a laboratory for some foreign franchises and then they can expand to Mexico City.
