Prosecutor's Office initiates actions against wholesalers in four regions for faucet counterfeiting

He Public Ministry initiated a series of legal actions against wholesalers from the cities of Cochabamba, Oruro, Tarija and La Paz that irregularly market FV SA brand products in the national market.

The Prosecutor’s office carried out raids on businesses who were identified by the justice system as the main distributors of contraband products, to the detriment of consumers who were affected by the offer of products without guarantee or support from the official brand.

FV SA reaffirms its determined commitment to the defense of its clients in the national market who are being defrauded by buy products of unknown origin and without any certification.

According to the company, in recent years, FV SA has intensified its efforts to combat counterfeiting and trademark infringement, implementing rigorous surveillance procedures and collaboration with the competent legal authorities in the different cities of Bolivia.

“This action is part of a comprehensive strategy to protect not only the reputation of the brand, but also the interests of our clients, who trust in the authenticity and quality of FV SA products, in addition to protecting and strengthening the formal economy in Bolivia,” the company points out.

The company also reported that they are implementing a series of concrete actions for the benefit of the consumer to detect and prevent the marketing of counterfeit FV brand products, including the constant improvement of its surveillance systems, cooperation with intellectual property protection agencies, and educating consumers about the importance of purchasing authentic products.

“Our goal is to maintain the trust that our customers place in us and guarantee that all products that carry our brand meet the highest quality standards. These sanctions are a reminder that we do not tolerate infringement of our trademark rights and that we will continue to work tirelessly to combat counterfeiting of all our products,” the company warned.
