Santo Domingo.- The Fourth Criminal Chamber of the National District denied this tuesday appeal for protection filed by the defense of Allyson de Jesús Pérez Mejía (Chiquito), csentenced to 30 years in prison for him murder of young Joshua Omar Fernández, with which he sought to be transferred from CCR-20 Correctional Center Najayo towards La Victoria prison.
The informationwas confirmed by Jaime Caonabo Terrero, lawyer of today convictedwho explained that the judge Franny Gonzaleztook the decision in which the general director of Prisons, ROberto Hernandezhas the authority totransfer an inmate from one venue to another, every time the processes are exhausted.

“He judge rejected the appeal of appeal, with the argument that the director of Prisons has the power, that the only thing he has to do isacer is a motivated writing and, based on that, it can transfer an inmate from one facility to another,” said the jurist.
Caonabo Terrerostated that, as soon as they are notified of the verdict, will proceed to appeal before the corresponding authorities.
“We are going to appeal that decisionbecause we are not satisfied with it. They are going to deliver it to us on December 27 and we will appeal in the corresponding instance», he assured.
