Our commitment is to continue doing well and continue transforming Apordom to meet the goal and for the Dominican Republic to be the logistics and cruise hub of the entire Caribbean,” said the official, according to the press release about the activity.
Apordom celebrated the anniversary with a thanksgiving mass in the Primate Cathedral of America, where the achievements and advances promoted by the current administration to develop and promote the port sector in the country.
When offering his words at the mass, Rodríguez maintained that it has been a team effort developed in favor of the greatest interests of the institution and celebrated with outstanding marks, because 16 tourist and fishing docks have already been built throughout the national geography. ; two cruise terminals and the financial bailout of the entity.
The thanksgiving mass was officiated by himArchbishop Francisco Ozoria Acostapriest of the Primate Cathedral of America, who urged everyone present to recognize their sins before God and ask forgiveness for all of them.
In the catholic commemorationthe first reading, prayer of the faithful, responsorial psalm, as well as offertory presentations of the national flag, Law 70-70, institutional philosophy, maritime rudder work plan, emblem, work tools, light, bread and wine, were carried out by directors, deputy directors and servants of Apordom.

The Dominican Port Authority was founded on December 17, 1970, its function is to direct and manage seaports and increase the international trade of the country.

Apordom is made up of 12 port precincts, of which six are under the direct administration and operation of the State, through Apordom; Five operate under the concession modality, and one is private.
