This Tuesday, the defendants Gilbert Cruz, Edgar Trillo, Teresa Pinto, Solangela Mendoza and Marcos Pratolongo were sentenced to 15 to 20 years in prison for their complicity in the murder of Tirone González, known in the rap world as Cansebero.
This was reported by the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, who pointed out that these sentences are added to the previous convictions against the material and intellectual authors known as the Améstica Brothers. Therefore, there are seven people convicted in the Canserbero case.
In this sense, it specifies that the defendants Gilbert Cruz, Edgar Trillo and Teresa Pinto were sentenced to 17 years and 4 months in prison for the crimes of Obstruction of the Administration of Justice and Association to Commit a Crime, Simulation of a Punishable Act and Aggravated Corruption. .
The accused Solangela Mendoza will receive a sentence of 15 years and 6 months in prison for the crimes of Obstruction of the Administration of Justice and Association to Commit a Crime and Financing of Terrorism and Cover-up.
And finally, the accused Marcos Pratolongo was sentenced to 20 years and 6 months in prison for the crimes of International Homicide Qualified with Deceit and for Futile Motive in the degree of Non-Necessary Accomplice and Simulation of a Punishable Act, Obstruction of the Administration of Justice and Association for Crime and Financing of Terrorism.
For the investigation of this case, more than 150 procedures and expertise were carried out by laboratories of the Public Ministry, which were instructed by the prosecutor to clarify this shocking event.
