He Cluster of Devices Doctors and Pharmacists of the Dominican Association of Free Zones (Adozone) awarded to the Technological Institute of Santo Domingo (INTEC) the first “Recognition to the Academy”, highlighting his valuable contribution in the training of specialized talent and its commitment to quality education.

The event was attended by the executive vice president of AdozoneJosé Manuel Torres; the general coordinator of the Cluster of Devices Physicians and Pharmacists (CDMF), Diana Báez; the rector of INTECJulio Sánchez Maríñez; the vice-rector for Research and Liaison, Rosario Aróstegui; and other authorities of both institutions.
The award highlights the work of INTEC in the training of more than 300 professionals trained in STEM areas (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), through programs such as the concentration in Manufacturing Devices Doctors. This sector is strategic for the Dominican economy, and the university has contributed significantly to the provision of specialized education.
