Due to the budget cut that the National Electoral Institute (INE) will face for fiscal year 2025, national sample verification surveys will not be carried out to review the electoral roll, the voter ID card with photography, and deceased registered voters prior to the election. the new members of the Judiciary, as is usually done before each federal process.

When it was announced that the national sample verification will be carried out until 2026 and that it will be applied every two years, to save resources, officials from the institute regretted that the quality of the electoral roll was omitted to be evaluated, since in their opinion it is a serious setback.
