Santo Domingo.- A weak trough will cause moderate showers this Tuesday in several regions of the country, the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) reported on Monday night.
The trough will increase cloudiness in towns located on the Atlantic coast, the northeast, southeast, northwest and the Central mountain range, according to the report.
Likewise, the Emergency Operations Center (COE) maintains three provinces on “green alert”, despite the fact that Indomet reduced the populations below that level to one.

These provinces are Santiago de los Caballeros, Duarte and Puerto Plata, where urban flooding and flooding of rivers and streams could occur due to the rainfall that could be recorded.
In addition, both organizations urged boat users to navigate near the coast, due to abnormal waves in the Atlantic Ocean.
