Activists demonstrated at the Angel of Independence against the genocide in the Gaza Strip, demanding that the Mexican government have a “firm stance and response” on the country’s relations with Israel. Just under 20 people gathered with banners and flags to denounce the “atrocities” that Israel commits, because “it cannot be called a war because it is between two armies and here they are massacring and wiping out an entire population,” they maintained. They affirmed that they will continue with protests “because they cannot sit idly by.”
