Sheinbaun added that religious celebrations and carnivals not only seek the recovery of traditions and economic reactivation.
“It is a good opportunity to recover the traditions, which have not been lost, but which had been pending for two years.”
For her part, Evelyn Parra, mayor of Venustiano Carranza, said that the organizers of the Peñón de los Baños carnival, which takes place on the eve of Easter, will apply capacity and sanitary protocols so that the activity can take place without risk of contagion by COVID-19.
