Demand and supply of beach houses rise like foam

He explained that, according to a study they did among the beaches of Sur Chico, they identified that 50% of the supply is in Asia.

Something that caught my attention is the price. The average rent per full season of these properties amounts to US$13,943, although in the market you can also find some that rise like sea foam and are at US$36,000.

“What we are observing is that there is a tendency to rent as a group of people; For this reason, there is a big bet on real estate,” he added.

Meanwhile, Luciano BarredoMarketing Manager of Urbania and Adondevivir.com, commented that on these platforms the greatest demand is observed for homes in San Bartolo. In this area, he explained that the apartments are prioritized, because they are facing the sea.

Regarding the Norte Chico, mainly Barranca and Huaral, he specified that there is a growing interest, but at a slower pace and only for weekends, not for seasons or complete months.

For this situation to be reversed, he explained that it is necessary to make more investment to attract a greater number of vacationers to those places.
