A delegation of US congressmen arrived in Chocó to attract investments

The Foreign Minister of Colombia, Luis Gilberto Murillo, met this Saturday in the department of Chocó with a delegation of US congressmen led by Democrat Gregory Meeks, member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the US House of Representatives, seeking to “strengthen ties and attract investments.

Murillo accompanied the text with some photographs of the visit of the US congressmen. The delegation will meet, in addition to Murillo, with “regional leaders, youth and members of civil society to advance the bilateral relationship between the United States and Colombia and defend the rights of Afro-indigenous peoples, including the implementation of the Ethnic Chapter of the 2016 peace agreement“explained the Democratic congressmen in a statement.
