In the 35-second clip, the president can clearly be seen moving with agility, talking and laughing along with the first lady, Rosângela “Janja” da Silva, and her neurosurgeon, Marcos Stavale.

Former speaker of the US House of Representatives was hospitalized

The former speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, was hospitalized this Friday after suffering a fall that caused a fracture in her hip. The leader was in Luxembourg to participate in the commemorative events of the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge.

At 84 years old, Pelosi suffered an injury during an official meeting with a congressional delegation and, according to her spokesman Ian Krager, she was hospitalized to receive medical attention, although no further details were given about the nature of the injury, Efe reported.

Chile evaluates regularization of migrants with family ties in the country

The Minister of the Interior and Security of Chile, Carolina Tohá, reported that her country will study the regularization of migrants who contribute positively to Chilean society.

Tohá called not to criminalize foreigners in Chile. “If they have a job in Chile or have family ties in Chile, we will evaluate the possibility of regularizing them. “Those who are in Chile trying to rebuild their lives honestly cannot be treated as criminals, as a threat, because they are not,” said the minister.

Tohá emphasized that criminalizing migrants or generally linking them to illicit activities only encourages discrimination and social rejection, perpetuating prejudices and stigmas that make their inclusion difficult.
