Trujillo only has one beach suitable for bathers

Just a beach province of Trujillo It is suitable to receive bathers during the summer season that officially begins on December 21, according to the General Directorate of Environmental Health (Digesa). At the regional level, of the 23 spas inspected, six comply with all health measures, which guarantee that vacationers do not contract any illness during their stay in these places.

The list

Correo reviewed the “Healthy Summer” platform of the Ministry of Health (Minsa). There, it is specified that coastal areas must meet rigorous standards of microbiological quality, cleanliness and hygienic services to be considered suitable for recreational use.

In Trujillo, specialists reviewed seven beaches in the province. After the analysis, it was determined that the only one that meets all the guarantees for bathers is Huankarute, located in the district of Huanchaco.

In that same jurisdiction, Huanchaquito and El Mirador were inspected, which did not pass the evaluation. The first did not comply with any of the items: microbiological quality, cleanliness and presence of hygienic services, while the second did not pass the last two requirements.

Other beaches declared unsuitable in Trujillo are: Acapulco and El Acuario, in Las Delicias, Moche. Both did not pass the evaluation of cleanliness and hygienic services.

Likewise, the Salaverry spa was “pulled” for not having functional toilet services. For the Minsa, this is an indication of the authorities’ commitment to public health.

At the level of the La Libertad region, Digesa inspected 23 spas. Of them, only six comply with all health measures.

In addition to Huankarute, in Trujillo, there are also four healthy beaches in the province of Pacasmayo.

One is the Malecón Grau, while three others are located in San Pedro de Lloc: El Milagro, Santa Elena and Puémape Centro.

Likewise, the last suitable spa is El Charco, in Santiago de Cao, Ascope.

Careful

In the province of Pacasmayo there are also three unhealthy beaches. They are El Faro, Puémape Norte (San Pedro de Lloc) and La Boca del Río (Jequetepeque).

In Virú, likewise, Puerto Morín, Las Gaviotas, El Encanto and El Carmelo are unhealthy; while in Ascope El Tablazo de Puerto Malabrigo (Rázuri), Tres Palos (Santiago de Cao) and Bocana Cruz Verde (Magdalena de Cao) are not suitable.

Finally, there are two unhealthy beaches in the Pueblo Nuevo district, in Chepén. They are La Bocana and Chérrepe.

The regional Health Manager of La Libertad, Aníbal Morillo, said that they are coordinating with the mayors of the districts where these beaches are located, so that they improve cleaning and thus contingencies with vacationers can be avoided.
