The former mayor of the Huaricolca district, Víctor Guilmer López Córdova (67), is accused of raping a 12-year-old girl last Monday, December 9, when the minor was asking in his store for some items for a job, he took advantage of the circumstances. According to the victim’s father, it would not be the first time he sexually abused his daughter.

At around 4 pm on Monday the 9th, the minor went to the store, where Víctor Guilmer López Córdova (67) abused her. When she returned home she told the events to her father, confessing that she would not be the first. time, since on another occasion he also insulted her and threatened her if she notified her parents.
The father reported the incident at the PNP Huaricolca Rapid Aid Post, they went in search of the former mayor, who confessed to the crime and was transferred to the Tarma police station, the tests performed on the girl showed positive for rape. During the proceedings outside the police station, a member of the National Police named Balbín suggested to the father that he “settle the matter right there.”
