The National Board of School Aid and Scholarships (Junaeb) began this Thursday, December 5, the application and renewal process for its student benefits, which will be available until January 31, 2025. This year, the organization launched a new web portal to facilitate access to 13 scholarships for students of different educational levels throughout the country.
The portal, available at junaeb.cl/portal-becascentralizes the information on all the benefits offered. As explained from Junaebthe system automatically identifies the scholarships that each student can access, which speeds up and simplifies the process.
Among the aid available are the Scholarship President of the Republic, the Indigenous Scholarship, the Aysén Scholarship and various student residence programs, among others. The allocation of benefits will be based on the socioeconomic qualification registered in the Social Registry of Households as of February 1, 2025.
To apply or renew, students must enter the portal, provide their RUT and an active email. Afterwards, they will receive a temporary password to access the system, where they can update their information and complete the process.
With this initiative, Junaeb seeks to ensure that more students have access to key benefits that facilitate their continuity and academic success in the next school year.
