In the balance of 2021, the Single National Transit Registry (RUNT) revealed an increase in the vehicle fleet of more than 17 million vehiclesespecially in motorcycles that correspond to more than half of the figure (10.1 million).

In the city of Bogotá is the largest fleet of motorcycles with 514,938 registered vehiclesfollowed by the city of Envigado, Sabaneta, Girón and Funza.
In this year, a historical figure was also registered of transfers with 1,684,82857% more than in 2020, especially this modality was evidenced in a greater number of cars with 42% of the figure.
Regarding the state of the Soat, the Runt report revealed that 47% of the vehicles ended the year with compulsory insurance evasion, that is, 7.9 million vehicles throughout the national territory do not have this policy. Of this total, 78% corresponds to motorcycles (six million).
In the case of technical-mechanical revision, the total number of vehicles, 57%, about 8.1 million vehicles do not have the certificateor valid for the year 2021. And as in the previous items, motorcycles comprise the largest number of evasions with 78% of the total.

On the other hand, in 2021, as a result of the economic reactivation, it increased by 71% the number of people who issued for the first time their driving license compared to the year 2020, and 52% compared to the year 2019. Of the people who renewed this permit, 13.3 million were completed with their active license in the country. A trend to highlight is that more than 75% of these are in the hands of men (nine million) compared to the three million that women have.
