“Let them present it in a real way to the Congress of the Republic, in the form of a bill from the Executive, and we will discuss it. It is always conducive to discussing ideas and proposals because that enriches the decisions that are made,” he told Canal N. .

Regarding the proposals of various mayors of the capital regarding the restoration of mandatory military service, Salhuana was not convinced of that proposal. “They are opinions, suggestions… I am not so convinced. I am more inclined towards voluntary military service.”
“What has always been discussed in Congress is the issue of improving the tip given to the soldier, because at this moment it does not exceed 300 soles, so few young people are tempted. In addition to this, we must provide them with technical education, at least,” he added.
DEATH PENALTY
As is known, after strongly condemning the murder of a 12-year-old girl in Villa María del Triunfo, President Dina Boluarte proposed opening the debate on the death penalty for criminals who commit this type of crime.
“It is an infamous and painful fact that shows us as a society there is a lot of work to do,” said Boluarte, who extended his condolences to the family of the minor who was murdered and asked for a minute of silence.

Boluarte called on the justice authorities, the Prosecutor’s Office, and the Judiciary to take measures to not allow “these criminals to remain on the streets.”
“We must not have contemplation for those who dare to touch our girls. It is time that before events of this magnitude we propose drastic measures,” said Boluarte, after mentioning that the Police must also take action.
