Rodríguez arrived in the city of Abu Dhabi, the Emirati capital, after finishing an official visit to China
The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held a working meeting this Tuesday with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to review the agenda of bilateral relations and examine different sectors “where there may be common interest for the development of both peoples.”
Through their social media accountsRodríguez expressed that during the meeting, which included other authorities from both countries, he thanked the Venezuelan delegation for welcoming him and “on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro Moros, we congratulate the 53rd anniversary of the National Day of the United Arab Emirates and highlight the feat of the battle of Ayacucho 200 years ago.”
In addition, he highlighted that both nations have a common history that they share in the spaces of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and now in OPEC plus “where they have joined forces for the stability and defense of the global energy market.”

For its part, the Vice Presidency of the Republic highlighted that this working visit ratifies the willingness to promote relations with the United Arab Emirates, which is a nation rich in energy resources like Venezuela.
