The Communal Councils, Communes, Social Movements and all expressions of Popular Power will mobilize on the morning of this Tuesday, December 10, to commemorate the 165 years of the Battle of Santa Inés.
As part of the December celebrations, the community people, peasants, workers and students, “will ride with Zamora to Caracas from all the states of the country. This activity is promoted by the Ministry of Popular Power for Communes, Social Movements and Urban Agriculture,” stated the press release.
Meeting point
It will have as its starting point the CANTV administrative building on Avenida Libertador in Caracas, to the Miraflores Palace, “where the Popular Power together with the head of State, Nicolás Maduro, will honor the deed of the Sovereign People’s General Ezequiel Zamora; as well as the memory of our commander Chávez, who invoked the epic battle to achieve another of his great electoral victories in 2005.”
This great caravan will be full of banners, groups, slogans and all the mystique of the Venezuelan people, “demonstrating once again that there is a people in permanent resistance that fights against colonialism, imperialism and the stateless right of the country,” says the note.
