The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, warned the leaders of “fascist extremism” not to make mistakes with Venezuela given their intentions to unleash a civil war in the country.
The head of state mentioned that he is observing the development of the circumstances that are “painful for the people of Syria” and condemned that “the outlaws of fascist extremism” are coming out to ask that a fratricidal confrontation be organized in Venezuela as well.
“I tell you: make no mistake because the people of Venezuela, in a perfect fusion, popular, military and police, will triumph on the path of peace,” Maduro emphasized this Monday during the commemoration act of the Bicentennial of the Battle of Ayacucho.
The president assured that in the country there will be peace, stability, national unity and the Constitution will prevail.
“If Ayacucho was the Waterloo of the Spanish empire in America, if imperialist gentlemen dared, if fascist gentlemen and ladies dared, [Venezuela] “It would be the Waterloo of all conspiracies and they would regret it for 100 years for having dared to touch the sacred peace and stability and union of our beloved Venezuela,” he concluded.
“Sucre calls us to unity”
He also Commander in Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) sent a greeting to the South American military in the commemoration of the Battle of Ayacucho and highlighted that the legacy of Antonio José de Sucre “calls us to unity, calls us to a new liberation, calls us to a new process of South America and Our America.”
“Military men of the great country, hear our call from Venezuela, let the drums of liberation and the union of Our America sound. “Let the intrigue cease, let the division cease, let the separation of Our America cease, let the cowardice of those who submit to imperial blackmail and deny the flags of Bolívar, Sucre and the liberators cease,” Maduro insisted.
