The situation occurred in the Nus River, jurisdiction of the municipality of Alexandria.
A good number of native and lifeless fish put the Regional Autonomous Corporation, Cornare, in Antioquia on alert, who immediately made a team of professionals available to determine the real causes of the animals’ deaths.
According to the corporation, the situation basically occurred in a sector of the Nus River, near the municipality of Alexandria, and from there It is evaluated if the fish died from any disease or even due to an adverse situation such as water deterioration.

“To advance the research, the Corporation’s technical and scientific team focuses its efforts on collecting additional samples of water, sediment and fish, which will be analyzed in specialized laboratories. Likewisea, possible environmental factors such as changes in water quality, temperature variations and human activities in the area are being evaluated, that could be related to the situation,” Cornare said in a statement.
Likewise, the environmental authority called on citizens to be attentive to any irregular situation in ecosystems.

“The environmental authority extends a call to the inhabitants of the region and local actors to report any anomaly observed in the water ecosystems, with the purpose of joining efforts in the attention and management of this case”, added the entity.
Disrepair
On the other hand, a video recorded by a citizen shows the poor condition of the road between the municipality of Barbosa and Concepción, in Antioquia.
According to the citizen, the situation occurs precisely at kilometer 4, Buenos Aires sector. The recording, even recorded on the morning of this Monday, December 9, shows the apparent geological faults of the place.
