Police officers from the Cojedes state arrested three men and a lady for committing the crime rustling – theft or theft of livestock. The event occurred in the “Cajobal” sector of Cojedito, Anzoátegui municipality.
Two bags containing beef were seized from the detainees, as well as a blue Skygo motorcycle-type vehicle, without a license plate.
The subjects were identified as Marcos Antonio Medina, 28 years old; José Daniel Becerrit, 41 years old; Johan José Sequera, 25 years old, and Deizzy Jakelin Pinto, 34 years old, who remain at the disposal of the Public Ministry along with the seized objects.
The arrest occurred after officials, who were carrying out preventive patrol work at police station number 04 of the aforementioned town, received a call from a citizen stating that several subjects had stolen animals (cattle) from a privately owned corral. , which were dismembered and then sold illegally.
Officials went to the site immediately and conducted a tour to find the whereabouts of the perpetrators of the events. A few minutes later, after an exhaustive search, they were located at the “San Marcos” stop, being identified and pointed out by the complainant. .
