Top 10: The states with the most jobs at risk due to automation

In his report “Job creation and local economic development 2024“disseminated a few days ago, the OECD warns that, in the case of automation, 19% of workers in Mexico is at riskThis is because at least 25% of their skills and competencies are highly automatable, seven percentage points more than the group average.

In the breakdown by federal entities, it was observed that Coahuila and Quintana Roo They are considered those with the highest proportion of jobs that could be impacted by automation and artificial intelligence.

The industrial vocation of the majority of these states is what makes their workers more vulnerable to being replaced in their functions by automated processes.

At the other extreme were Chiapas, Veracruz and Michoacán, where there is a lower proportion of jobs at risk due to technological advance.
