The Office for Transport Reorganization (Opret) announced that the first two were placed beams at the intersection of the 27 de Febrero Prolongación with the Duarte highway that will serve to connect the Metropolitan Train announced by the Government with the Line 2 of the Metro of Santo Domingo.
The installation seeks to guarantee that the service of the Line 2 of the Metro when the future line that will connect the 27 de Febrero Extension with the Plaza de la Bandera in one of its stages is built.
This strategy ensures a integration total between the existing lines and those that will be developed in the coming years, aligning with the new master plan of expansion of the mass transportation system of Santo Domingo.

The official also highlighted the support of the president Luis Abinaderwhose support has been essential to the materialization of these key infrastructure projects.
