Santo Domingo.- A frontal system and a trough will cause rain in several parts of the country, starting this Monday, the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet).
The showers will be moderate over the provinces of San Cristóbal, Monseñor Nouel, San Pedro de Macorís, Monte Plata, Duarte, Puerto Plata, Santo Domingo, the National District, Espaillat and María Trinidad Sánchez.

«This Monday, from early morning, the conditions will be conducive for the rain to continue in provinces that share the Atlantic coast and other nearby ones, mainly towards María Trinidad Sánchez, Espaillat, Puerto Plata and Duarte. Around noon, cloudiness will begin to increase over Monte Plata, San Pedro de Macorís, Gran Santo Domingo, San Cristóbal, and Monseñor Nouel,” says Indomet.
Starting Tuesday, a high pressure system will arrive that will cause a decrease in rainfall, the report states.
Likewise, the agency reported that the temperature will continue to be cool, mainly in towns near mountain areas.
