First Justice, which expressed its solidarity with the political prisoners and persecuted people, indicated that a series of tasks must be achieved “in view of next January 10, the date on which we must defend the will of the Venezuelan people for change.”
The Primero Justicia party pointed out the importance of “maintaining opposition unity” around the figures of Edmundo González and María Corina Machado, in order to “defend the will of the Venezuelan people for change.”
According to one press releasein the last meeting of the National Political Committee three points were agreed upon: reaffirm their commitment to defending the electoral results of July 28, maintaining unity and consolidating the structures of the party.
“July 28 marked the recent history of Venezuela (…) Today more than ever, they are united to defend that victory, strengthen the structure and promote justice, freedom and democracy that the Venezuelan people deserve,” highlighted the leadership of PJ.

In this defense of the victory that, according to the opposition, Edmundo González obtained in the presidential elections, “actions are included to exert pressure both internally and externally, guaranteeing that the will of the Venezuelan people is respected and promoting a democratic and transparent agenda.”
The political campaign indicated that it will continue “promoting Venezuela’s democratic cause on international stages, seeking support and visibility for the struggles of our people.”
The National Committee thanked the work of the territorial bodies, who it said “were fundamental in the success of the primary elections, in the presidential electoral route and in the victory obtained on July 28.”
He also noted that they will maintain “consultation days” in these instances “aimed at guaranteeing the security of militancy and promoting the recognition of the results of July 28, always in line with the strategies of the Democratic Unitary Platform.”
