Concepción celebrates its 315th anniversary with population growth of 60%

Concepción, capital of the Ñuflo de Chávez province, celebrates its patron saint’s day and 315th anniversary, this Sunday, December 8, with a notable population growth.

Founded in 1709 by Jesuit missionaries, in homage to the Immaculate Virgin of Mary, Concepción is a cultural heritage of humanity, declared by UNESCO in 1990.
