“Being Sodalitium Christianae Vitae (Sodalitium) a society of lay apostolic life of Pontifical Law, it is the exclusive competence of the Holy See to act as a jurisdictional body to judge, decide and resolve the serious matters that were reported and involved this institution,” he stated.
Along the same lines, the Episcopal Conference reported that “by its nature, it does not have such jurisdiction, since it is not a jurisdictional body to deal with complaints filed against members of the Sodalitium Christianae Vitae“.
