Authorities reacted to the UN report
Due to the magnitude of what was asserted, different authorities, such as the Attorney General’s Office, the Mayor’s Office of Bogotá, the operator of the El Dorado Airport and even Legal Medicine, spoke out on the matter, distorting the report.
The Attorney General’s Office visited the 27 hangars in the concession area at the El Dorado Airport and was able to confirm that they are dedicated to “purely airport activities.”

For his part, the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences assures “is unaware of the existence of said hangar and has not received requests from any authority for the study and analysis of said cases.”
