A tragic event has shocked the inhabitants of Girardot after the cruel murder of a pincher breed dog, called Teen, which occurred last Wednesday, December 4, in the Bosques de Vizcaya neighborhood.

According to Tenn’s owner, who narrated what happened to local media, the events began when the dog entered the alleged aggressor’s home to play with her pet.

The captured images show the man with an object covered by a pillowcase in his right hand, from where he fires the first shot that hits the window of a nearby house. Later, he shot again inside his home, seriously wounding the dog.

Tenn, mortally wounded, managed to reach his home, where he died in the arms of a minor, in a heartbreaking scene that has generated outrage in the community.

Organizations defending animal rights, such as the Alto Platform, have raised their voices to demand justice. «This murderer in Girardot shot several dogs for fun with a compressed air gun that he had wrapped in a holster. Unfortunately he killed Tenn, a pincher dog. Tenn’s family asks us for help to spread the word so that this case does not go unpunished,” they expressed from their X account.

On the other hand, Shayly Vargas, mother of the owner of Tenn, declared in an interview with Actualidad Informativa that she has already filed the corresponding complaint and revealed that she has received threats against her life and her family. “I will not rest until justice is done, I will not forgive him, and we want him to pay for what he did”

This case has once again raised alarm bells about the risks of not acting forcefully in the face of animal abuse. This case will be escalated to the Gelma group of the prosecutor’s office for the respective investigation.
