What will be the challenges to be faced by the PAN leadership in CDMX?
Reconcile ourselves inside. It happens in all families: we have known each other for many years, all possible combinations have happened internally. (…) We have to reconcile interests and we have to understand that together we are truly very strong and that together we have achieved great results.
There is a percentage of voters who, although they do feel opposition, we have not finished generating this confidence to say: ‘for National Action’; So they prefer to look in Movimiento Ciudadano, in the PRI, in the PRD. They prefer to look for an alternative that better suits their thinking.
That is our best ally today: those from the capital who are not willing to resign, who are not willing to give up, who do not have to accept what they want to give us but truly fight among all of us for what we deserve.
The PAN has positioned itself against issues such as abortion. How can we reach those who cannot see the party as an option for this reason, despite being dissatisfied with Morena’s management?
In the PAN we have to understand freedoms and I really mean it in every letter: I cannot conceive of a National Action that thinks about economic freedoms but questions personal freedoms.
I wouldn’t do it, for me, there is life from the moment of conception, but I am also convinced that I don’t have to explain to another woman what to do, how to understand or conceive life.
It is the personal sphere, I understand both positions. Even in the legislative debates it is noticeable that in National Action there are very diverse positions on the matter and I am not going to leave aside one or the other position. The theme of National Action is public affairs. We are the best governments, we do the best public management, that is what we know how to do very well.
