Asylees in the Argentine Embassy report that they are being watched with cameras and drones

Embajada de Argentina fachada maduro

Diosdado Cabello, last Wednesday, described what is happening at the Argentine Embassy in Caracas as a “farce” by showing a video that “dismantles” what is happening.

Omar González, member of the national leadership of the Vente Venezuela organization and one of the six asylum seekers in the Argentine Embassy, denounced this Friday, December 6, that the siege by the State security forces continues and intensifies by explaining the different actions they carry out while they remain in the residence.

Through a video posted On social networks, González warned that the food and medicine deliverers who carry orders to the legation are detained in the different checkpoints that are arranged around the diplomatic headquarters and they are “accused of being suspected of terrorism”; just as they warn them not to collaborate with those inside the embassy.

Likewise, he said that there are “surveillance and espionage centers” in the vicinity of the legation with “cameramen and photographers.” In addition, he said that there are drone flights to carry out permanent surveillance at the Argentine Embassy; This while they are without electricity and without the possibility of bringing in cisterns for drinking water.

Omar González pointed out that since the administration of Nicolás Maduro they have “ignored” the voices of the international community that ask for respect for human rights and the Vienna and Caracas Conventions, which regulate the international law of asylum seekers in diplomatic headquarters. In this sense, it makes an urgent call for action to prevent the repeated violation of rights.

Omar González’s statements about the situation in the Argentine Embassy were recorded two days after the Minister of the Interior and Justice, Diosdado Cabello, described these complaints as a “farce” and that this “hoax” was created by María Corina Machado to cover up his supposed arrival in Venezuela.

during his television showCabello presented a video showing alleged photos of water drums and a writing that says “delivery of drinking water to the Argentine Embassy.”

Likewise, the video shows more photos of the supposed pool, full of water, of the diplomatic headquarters and, in addition, images of the refugees “enjoying a barbecue,” according to the writing shown on the screen.
