Agents of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) detained two women from whom they seized 16 panels of marijuana, according to reports.
The procedure occurred at the Immigration Control Point located in Los Parujanos, Guajira municipality (Zulia).
At that checkpoint, the officials gave the signal to the two women, who did not comply. They fled on a motorcycle, which they lost control of and skidded on the pavement. The PNB agents took advantage of the moment to arrest the women, who were identified as Dayana Coromoto Espina González (34) and Yesibel Alexandra Moreno Masyruby (22).
The women were carrying 16 panels of marijuana and one of cocaine in a bag. Both caches yielded a total weight of 9 kilos 960 grams of drugs.
The Public Ministry was informed of the procedure.
