Cofepris launches alert
For this reason, this Thursday, the Federal Commission for the Protection against Health Risks (Cofepris) issued a health alert in which it informs health professionals and the sector about the immobilization of intravenous parenteral nutrition solutions prepared after the 21st. This measure, the agency states, is preventive and establishes that these products cannot be used or applied while the investigation into the infectious outbreak is underway.
“The above has been determined as a precautionary measure in order to avoid or control any health risk, since the products are currently under investigation by this health authority,” the alert states.
