The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, asserted that the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Karim Khan, offers statements about the country based on erroneous information he receives.
“We do not have children imprisoned here Mr. Karim Khan, you were given wrong information and you are giving statements based on wrong information, we do not have children detained here,” the Bolivarian leader emphasized this Wednesday during his program No. 506 of Con The Gavel Giving.
In that sense, he stated that Venezuela is not like the United States where there are children detained and who have not committed crimes of any nature. “They grab them and separate them from their parents, there [en EEUU] Yes, there are children detained to take care of it,” he said.
Furthermore, he pointed out that while children are detained in the United States, they are murdered in Palestine. “How strange that you don’t say anything?” he asked when referring to the inaction of international organizations regarding the genocide that is occurring against the Palestinian people.
Cabello assured that the arrest warrant issued by prosecutor Karim Khan against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will not be applied.
“That’s pure nonsense, that’s for you to believe,” he said.
