Royal Pari dreams of saving itself from the indirect, after the victory it achieved over Oriente Petrolero by 2-1, this Wednesday at the Tahuichi Aguilera stadium, in a match on date 25 of the Clausura tournament. The real estate companies were only 2 points behind the penultimate in the accumulated table, which is Guabirá, while the refiners are in twelfth place.

The two teams, in need of a victory, were ambitious and played with an offensive vocation, but almost the entire first half was emotionless. Only at 39 minutes, there was a feeling of a goal, after a long side kick in favor of the real estate team, the refinery defense did not clear and the ball was left to Celín Padilla who made it crash into the right post of goalkeeper Joel Bernal.
It was one of the best of the first half, although when extra time began to be played José Alfredo Flores (45′) had his chance with a shot from a closed angle, which passed very close to the right post of Oriente Petrolero’s goal.

Everything indicated that the teams would go to half-time with a blank score, but that was not the case. A foul by goalkeeper Bernal against Flores, in stoppage time, caused La Paz referee Jorge Quintanilla to charge a penalty.

José Alfredo Flores (45+4) took charge of the maximum penalty and did not miss. He finished with power to the right side of goalkeeper Bernal who, despite choosing the same side, could not contain the shot because of the power he had.

Upon returning from the locker room, the purslane team seemed different, in a few minutes they created goal plays with Marcos Riquelme, John García, Franz Gonzales and the permanent support of Dieguito Rodríguez, but they could not score and on the counter Royal Pari showed themselves dangerous.

To make matters worse, Oriente Petrolero lost John García to a muscle injury and had to be replaced by Gilbert Álvarez. García may be absent for the Santa Cruz classic, which will be played on Sunday in this same sporting venue.

When the 80th minute was up, referee Jorge Quintanilla awarded a penalty to the refiners for an alleged foul by Alexander Zurita on Marcos Riquelme, but after the VAR review, the central judge corrected his decision and there was no maximum penalty.

Oriente Petrolero continued to insist and scored a goal, through Riquelme (84′), but the goal was disallowed due to the forward’s advanced position; However, after the VAR review, the goal was validated, thus reaching 1-1.

Those led by Joaquín Monastery scored a second goal in stoppage time through Diego Barreto (94′), but that goal was disallowed because in the previous play there was a penalty for Royal Pari that the referee had not taken, but he did after to review the play on the small screen.

At the moment there was a threat on the part of some refinery players not to continue the match, but in the end football continued despite the protests of those affected.

Oriente Petrolero, when they thought they had won the game, ended up losing it because the penalty was converted by Tobias Andre Moriceau (103′), who made it 2-1.
