Women of the Presidential Honor Guard receive social care

The team of the National Women’s Institute (Inamujer) participated in the Social Day held at the Miraflores Palace in the city of Caracas, in order to provide care in different areas to the military and civilian personnel of the Presidential Honor Guard.

In this activity, attendees received all the information related to the plans and services provided by Inamujer as an entity attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Women and Gender Equality, where its mission is to provide comprehensive care for women of Venezuela with plans to defend their rights.

The Telephone Assistance Service was announced 0800WOMEN (08006853737), which provides psychological and legal guidance, as well as promotion of the exercise of participatory and leading democracy that women maintain in the State, encouraging them to tolerance, co-responsibility, non-violence and solidarity among them. Ultrasounds and gynecology consultations were also performed through the Mobile Units of the Great Venezuela Women Mission.

The participants received the Violentometer as a teaching tool to know the daily alerts of violence, according to the levels to be careful, react and know when their life is in danger from their romantic partner or another male person, as a consequence of machismo.
