VAT refund: how to check the payment method and point of the Banco Agrario

How do I know if I have my VAT transfer in Reval?

The VAT refund is an economic compensation promoted by the Government of Colombia with the aim of reducing the impact of this tax on the poorest households. How can beneficiaries consult the modality and their payment point of Banco Agrario?

VAT Refund beneficiaries can consult the modality and payment point established to receive the transfers on the Banco Agrario website through the following steps:

• Enter the entity’s website: www.bancoagrario.gov.co

• Click on the Money Transfers section and enter the link that appears in the instructions: https://consultagiros.bancoagrario.gov.co/ConsultaPagos/Consulta.aspx

• Enter the type and number of your ID, and then you will see if you have a payment point assigned to you, that is, a pending draft for withdrawal.

• Go to the authorized establishment to make the payment with your original identification document.

It is important to note that beneficiaries will receive a text message on their cell phone to notify them of the money order and the payment point.

The Department for Social Prosperity began rotating payment cycle 4 of this initiative last week. The maximum date to withdraw the money orders will be extended until next December 26

This is a reward that will reach more than two million households through an investment by the Government of approximately $200 billion.

The Department of Social Prosperity is responsible for identifying potential beneficiaries through the information contained in databases such as the Identification System of Potential Beneficiaries of Social Programs (Sisbén) IV.

To receive this financial compensation, families must have the following classification in Sisbén IV:

• Households in extreme poverty that are classified in subgroups A1, A2, A3, A4, A5 and indigenous households.
• Households in moderate poverty that are classified in subgroups: B1, B2, B3 and B4.

In any case, being registered in one of these groups does not give immediate access to the VAT Refund, while the DPS prepares the lists of beneficiaries, prioritizing families with certain socioeconomic conditions.
