The daughters of Andrés Hurtado, nicknamed ‘Chibolín’, have drawn the attention of authorities in Peru for a series of bank transfers that have raised suspicions of money laundering. Genesis and Jossety Hurtadothe youngest daughters of the former television presenter, would also be under investigation due to their ostentation of luxury on social networks. According to a recent report from the Cuarto Poder investigation unit, Alberto Domínguez Rivera made a transfer of 6 thousand dollars to Génnesis Hurtado.

This movement, registered on November 22, 2022, was made from a bank in Lima to the account of Genesis at the JP Morgan Chase bank, in the United States. The transfer, which included commissions, totaled $6,086.

The daughters’ lawyer, Elio Riera, has stated that he has no knowledge of Domínguez’s identity, suggesting that he could be a worker or assistant of their father who facilitated the transfer. However, the prosecution has set its sights on Hurtado’s daughters, who, despite their statements about earning income as influencers abroad, have not been able to justify the origin of their wealth.

This fact becomes more relevant after the statement of Abraham Mina, treasurer of Andrés Hurtado, who admitted to having sent up to 10 thousand dollars on special occasions to the daughters. According to her lawyer, Mina has transferred a total of 43 thousand dollars in two and a half years, which has led the authorities to question the origin of these funds.
