There were eight votes that supported this complaint against Rivas for alleged violation of parliamentary ethics.
According to the report published on November 24, Rivas Chacara hired María Augusta Francia Benavente, a 74-year-old woman who lives in Cañete. The program spoke with the parliamentarian’s alleged worker and she stated that she did not work for the State and that she was an independent teacher.
